All Aboard Train Restaurant

For Lynette's closest buddy's birthday, no place was better suited to celebrate it at than All Aboard Train Restaurant. This kids loves trains and this place is decked out in them. There are several motorized trains to see and play with. The kids were in heaven.

This birthday boy couldn't be more excited.

Your food was served out on a train, and when it was your birthday they played a special birthday song as it chugged along.

The kids were enthralled with this play area. It had several trains and things moving around. There were buttons the kids could push to make things go, turn lights on and off, and make the train whistle. We could have spent all day there.

A group of buddies. It was REALLY hard to tear them away from the trains long enough to take this picture. In every shot at least one of them was looking back at the trains.

This little girl way too happy to be riding this train. D rubbed off his love of train onto Lynette, she's been hooked ever since.

One more BIG hug from the birthday boy.

What a fun restaurant. I love that they serve the food on trains.

That zoo looks amazing. No wonder you get season passes. I love the zoo here. They've been doing major renovations the last few years and I think we appreciate it almost as much as the animals. Ü

Love you guys. Your kids are adorable.

Kids Say the Darndest Things

Trev was playing with a bouncy ball and rolled it up in his shorts. He then proudly proclaimed "I have balls in my pants!"
Trev Says: "Mom, I want alcohol!" Me: "But, Trev, we don't drink alcohol! Its bad for our bodies. How about some milk?" Trev starts crying, "But I want ALCOHOL!"
Pointing to a Budweiser truck on the road: "Look, it's a Grant's Farm truck!"
"When I grow up, I want to be a boy." Me: "Why do you want to be a boy?" L:"Because I like to wear ties."
"this little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had gross feet..."
while again watching DWTS: "Dad, she's not wearing enough clothes!"
after watching Kate Gosselin for a few minutes on Dancing With the Stars, Lynette says, "She's mean!"
babysitter: "Lynette, let's go potty!" Lynette: "No, I'll just hold it, then I'll wet my pants, and then I'll get to go home!"
"My body is telling me that I need to watch cartoons."
Upon entering a room Lynette introduces herself with "There she is!"
"I have never seen this book before!? Impressive!"
Michael "Lynette, who's in your primary class?" Lynette "Calvin!" M "who else?" L "Carson." M "who else?" L "David!" M "who else?" pause, then "somebody..."
"Mom, there's a big smelly stink wherever you go. Flies buzz all around you." (this is from one of her books, Big Smelly Bear.)
Michael "Those dogs will go to a doctor for sick animals" L "Yeah, and for boys!"
Me "Do you have a tail?" L "No." Me "Do I have a tail?" L "No." Me "Does Trevor have a tail?" L very excitedly "Yes! He has a peanut!"
"I am better than all the rest!"
"I am cranky today!"
"This is the cooking show and I am the lady." I ask "Oh and what are you cooking today lady?" "Tofu!"
Lynette's lunch prayer after a morning of shopping, "Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the nice weather to go to the store and another store and another store and another store today..."
"Mommy are you irritating me?"
"Okay here are your choices; read books or sing songs."
"Mommy you have beautiful eyebrows . Very Cute."
Lynette knocked on the door while Michael was going to bathroom and said, "Daddy, you pooping? Daddy's pottytrained."
While sitting in the airport Lynette randomly starts muttering, "And contributions to PBS stations from viewers like you. Thank you!"
